He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is wearing a long, blue, dusty cloak. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His ears are large.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Arnold embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Gifted from a young age, Arnold studied abroad. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Arnold and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against brigands
