History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Dustin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Dustin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and revenge

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alex does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. When Alex reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and wants to work out more often

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.
