History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Roland has worked very hard to control his curse. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Fletcher, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born to a Interpreter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
