History: Theodoric was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Theodoric abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Dilettante, but he got bored and became a Locksmith. He's also a talented Dilettante, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Locksmith responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Peter was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Miner. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: Percival lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to unite with his sister
