History: Gifted from a young age, Aldous studied abroad. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Frederick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Godfrey was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
