He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

History: Born in the north to a Assassin, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
