Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Norman isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Shepherd business.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Mercenary and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with his Masseuse father left him crippled. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
