Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a violet tunic with green highlights, and long black pants that bunch up around his shoes. His black hair is knotted and matted. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: Raymond is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a Scribe soon after.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.
History: Randal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This man wears a tan vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His grey leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his tan boots flare out at the collars, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His red hair is thinning but still full. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Diggory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Diggory was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Aldous lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends
