History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Jocelyn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a scimitar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Adam was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Adam abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears just a brown suit, marred by beers. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his mother's many stories. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in hammer use. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He takes great joy in being the best Mortician in town.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He struck the Mortician job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
