Heartbroken, Gerald never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country.
