History: He was born into a rich family. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kody was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Dustin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
