History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Adam is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Adam lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
