History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hunter grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
