History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by giants. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with his Masseuse mother left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He takes great joy in being the best Ruler in town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has never given up on his music dream.
