History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Hugh is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is obsessed with his god.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he's in love
