History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Spice Merchant, but he got bored and became a Doctor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Doctor for hire.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against gnolls

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
