History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He struck the Carpenter job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Richard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Richard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and to be a engraver again

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born in the east to a Bounty Hunter, Hunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
