History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Blacksmith, and he later adopted a second son.
