History: John was born the youngest of three triplets. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by his family

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Lewis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Lewis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
