History: Dean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Glassblower, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Body Guard, and he later adopted a second son.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
