History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents enrolled him in a Barbarian school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
