History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
