History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears tattered old clothes. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His ears are large.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and to end his boredom

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
