History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Trym learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spy for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and to be a dyer again

Dean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Dean and his spouse have recently divorced.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
