History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
