History: Randal was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to unite with his brother
