His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Anselm took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up whip and armor he uses now. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has worked as a Bounty Hunter like his father before him.
