The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Description: This late middle aged man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge and is in decent physical shape. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shipwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.
