Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Peter was born with his mother's beautiful face. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy blonde hair. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He wears a worn and beaten armor, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has brown eyes.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Weaver but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
