Gomory Read, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a yellow coat with red slacks. He has moderate length golden hair. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the west
Ideals: Entrepeneur, Fighting. Flaws: Shy. Bonds: Attractive, Mentor. Occupation: Animal Trainer
Voice: Relaxed voice

Godfrey Browning, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This tall, slender man wears long strands of opal and short yellow dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His golden hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is a great chef.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Godfrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and money/treasure
Ideals: Gifted, Logical. Flaws: Cynical. Bonds: Rich, Mentor. Occupation: Jeweler
Voice: Nasally tone

Anselm Kendal, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears baggy black pantaloons and a grey scarf. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are hazel.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Anselm lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Anselm's homeland. Anselm decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.
Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Selfish. Bonds: Family, Immigrant. Occupation: Bowyer
Voice: Australian accent

Gerald Kelsey, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An older man who is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants, he is not a threatening figure. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Barber. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: Human compassion; and balancing his hectic life and new barber responsibilities is difficult
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Insane, Racist. Bonds: Attractive, Job, Poor. Occupation: Barber
Voice: Irish accent

Roger Huxley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with green slacks. He has no hair. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Ugly, Disease, Fearful. Bonds: Immigrant. Occupation: Detective
Voice: Scottish accent
