Hugh Pinkerton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An older man who dresses well, wearing yellow shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is long and golden with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Herbalist business.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He has a crush on the local Soapmaker; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
Ideals: Persistence. Flaws: Cynical. Bonds: Attractive, Mentor. Occupation: Herbalist
Voice: Low and grunting

Personal [hide]
Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his broad brown hat.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there.
