History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His first spouse was a Junk Dealer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Bertram is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Bertram was born with his mother's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
