History: He was born in a small plains village. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, yellow shirt, and tan tie. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Ruler born in the past three hundred years. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Heward lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Recently the stress of being a Ruler has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears baggy green pantaloons and a tan scarf. His hair is long and red with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and wants to raise his children well

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. John liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: John hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he would like to get married and retire
