History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Rogue school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was born in the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to reunite with his absent father
