History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has achieved small success as a Sage.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
