Description: A 5'5" western man, he very much looks the part of a Courier. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This late middle aged man wears dull yellow sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed pickaxe, just in case and is in decent physical shape. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Description: This malnourished man wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is golden and curly. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Trey was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He worked as a nervous Server and found it very stressful. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a blue collared shirt and red pants. He accessorizes with a blue scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: He was born in a small mountains village. Gerald liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. A true patriot, Adam would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Adam was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult
