History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the south to a Laborer, Alex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Laborer for the past few years.
