History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
