History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep red leather and dull pastel iron scale mail. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His brown hair is cut short. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Miner. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Raymond was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Balimaar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is pastel, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ernest was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.
