History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aldous grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Cory enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the north. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
