History: He comes from a rich western family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Description: He stands about 5'7" and prefers to wear tan pants and tee shirts. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Bernard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Bernard was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bricklayer. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to get a good night's sleep
