History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

Description: He sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He carries with him a set of shortspears, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He wears his golden hair down. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Roland enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
