History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Born to a Sailor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids.
