History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Kyle was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a cartwright and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
