Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Roger and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
