History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
