History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Thomas is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A gifted student he started as a Barkeep, but he got bored and became a Blacksmith. He has worked as a Blacksmith like his mother before him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gunter grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Anselm lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to unite with his brother
