History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bertram will drive conversation. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

Personality: Hunter hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
