Aldous Beckwith, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: He was raised in a plains tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Aldous took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many illithids want him driven away

Percival Carlisle, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner.
