History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Kyle's homeland. Kyle decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born in the south. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
